My system was getting buggy to the point I was considering a format but decided to run the Glarysoft System File Checker (included in the Glary Utilities package) first. Holding my breath, I restarted... a couple of jumps and burps later, it's running perfectly, for over a week now and didn't disturb SP2 or any other upddates.
